(Premieres Oct. 17, 10 p.m., FX.)
FRIDAY: 'Alex Cross'
Yes, that's Tyler Perry playing Cross, the detective and psychologist who's starred in more than a dozen books by James Patterson.?The film is based on the 2006 book "Cross," and features an unnervingly creepy Matthew Fox as brutal serial killer The Butcher. He's gotten pretty far away from that mysterious "Lost" island. (Opens Oct. 19.)
FRIDAY: 'Paranormal Activity 4'
Things are still going bump in the night in the "Paranormal Activity" universe, and ordinary people are still using night-vision and other cameras to capture the supernatural visitors.
