    Uninstalling Windows 8 Uninstalling From A Dual Boot Configuration

    Hi All!!

    I recently installed Windows 8 on my computer. I installed it by shrinking my D: drive and creating a new partition. Then, as I was installing Windows 8 I indicated that I wanted to do a separate install on this new partition. Everything went well and now when I boot my computer the first thing I see after the bios screen is a menu to select either Windows 7 or Windows 8.

    My question is... how do I get rid of the Windows 8 install? Can I just boot into Windows 7 and delete the Windows 8 partition? Is there anything I need to do manually to remove Windows 8 from the boot menu?

    What I am afraid of is when I delete the Windows 8 partition and reboot I will get a boot error saying it's missing the OS (Windows 8).
